Mr. Halleck, of Wauconda, conducted the church services Sunday and was entertained at the Gordon Bonner home.
Mrs. Nick Luiken, of Lake Crystal, Minn., is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Garret, and her daughter, Mrs. Ralph Miller.
Mrs. John Chope is spending four weeks with her daughter, Mrs. Louis Schwicht, at Hickory, while the family is under quarantine for scarlet fever.
Lyman Bonner has been absent from school the past two weeks on account of illness.
Mr. Peters Sr. is slowly improving from a recent illness.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bonner and sons spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Pedley, at Long Lake.
L. J. Slocum drove to Bennet, Ill., Saturday, returning Tuesday.
The Christian Endeavor business meeting for April will be held at the home of Kenneth and Grace Denman, Friday evening.
Vivien and Geraldine Bonner attended the oratorio, "The Story of the Cross," at the Episcopal church in Waukegan Sunday afternoon.
Miss Doris Jamison, of Milwaukee Downer college, is spending her Easter vacation with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. H. E. Jamison.
Philip and Eric Anderson entertained at a party Wednesday evening for Mrs. Dorothy Brown and little son, who are spending two weeks at the Anderson and E. E. Denman homes.
Mrs. Beck, of Evanston, is visiting her daughter, Mrs. A. H. Pierstorff.
Katharine Minto, of Davis, Ill., spent several days vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Minto.
Mrs. Laura Corris and Will Corris, of Long lake, were guests for dinner at the W. M. Bonner home Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Erwin, of Waukegan spent Sunday at the George Edwards home.
Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Torfin taught school Friday and Monday for Mrs. Ray Ferry, who was called to Wilmot by the death of her sister, Mrs. Leah Pacey.

Mr. and Mrs. F. G. Edwards and children spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. J. Kaluf, at Grange Hall.
The Ladies Aid society will meet at the church Thursday. Dinner will be served at noon by Mrs. L. J. Slocum, Mrs. W. A. Bonner, Mrs. A. G. Torfin and Vivien Bonner.
Miss Nellie Bond returned to her home in Elgin Wednesday, after two weeks visit with her niece, Mrs. E. E. Denman.
William Ferry, of DeKalb normal school, spent several days of his Easter vacation at the Lewis Baumann home.
Doris Jamison returned Monday to her school work at Milwaukee Downer college.
The Parent-Teacher Association of Spaulding school will give a variety entertainment at the Millburn church Friday evening. There will be a 1-act play, several readings and musical numbers, including selections on the bagpipe by a Scotchman. Millburn Parent-Teacher Association will receive half of the proceeds. Admission will be 25 and 15 cents.
The annual meeting of the Parent-Teacher Association was held at the school house Tuesday and the following officers were elected: Mrs. J. S. Denman, president; Mrs. Lewis Bauman, vice president; Mrs. Robert Bonner, secretary, and Mrs. Carl Anderson, treasurer.
Mrs. E. A. Martin, Mrs. L. J. Slocum, Mrs. W. M. Bonner, and Mrs. Gordon Bonner attended the dinner and meeting of the Mount Rest cemetery association at the home of Mrs. William Murrie, at Russell, Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Minto, Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Hughes, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bonner, Mr. and Mrs. William Bonner, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bonner, and Mrs. Clarence Bock attended funeral services for Mrs. Edward Rountree, at Rochester, Monday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. S. S. Niel were pleasantly surprised Wednesday evening when their neighbors came in to help them celebrate their thirty-sixth wedding anniversary.
Mrs. Warren Hook has been ill the past week.
