Born about 1811 in Mass. Married Abby C., who was born about 1812 in Mass. Children: Martha E., born about 1839 in Ill, married Horace G. Smith about April 11, 1864; George, born about 1841 in Ill.; Helen, born about 1844 in Ill. Abby (Abigail) was a charter member of Millburn Congregational Church. Farmer.

William L.

Read biographical sketch written in 1877.

Born April 8, 1816, in Salem, Mass. Came to Lake County in 1837. Bought land from federal government. Married Marcia G. Deming (also seen spelled Marsha Denning) about August 27, 1850. She was born October 4, 1828, in Vermont. She died November 15, 1908. Children (all born in Ill.). Died April 26, 1882.

Also known as Horace. Born about 1851. Married Sadie Gowdy about September 9, 1872.

Ottelyn L.

Known as Ottie. Born about 1852. Married J. Luther Smith. Two children. Died August 4, 1886, at Bonilla, Beadle County, Dakota, at age 33 years and 9 months (obituary).

Ruby C.

Also seen spelled Rubie. Born about 1854. Married Edward P. Dodge December 20, 1877. Died November 26, 1891, at age 37 years 2 months 22 days (obituary).

Born about 1857.

Mary Frye

Born about 1859. Educated in the public schools at Waukegan, Illinois. Took teacher training as Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Exercised ambition to become a medical doctor. Studied for about a year in Waukegan under Dr. Clark. Enrolled in the Woman's Medical School of Chicago, graduating in 1887. Interned for one year at the Mary Thompson Hospital for Women in Chicago. Opened an office at La Crosse, Wisconsin. Moved to Pueblo, Colorado, in 1891, where she eventually became county physician for Pueblo County. Practiced in Hawaii from 1901 until about 1907. Died at age 60 on December 8, 1919, at Colorado Springs, Colorado.
